Getting to Know Your Updowntowners Board of Directors (Tuesday, June 9, 2009) With Lynnette Nelson, Updowntowners SecretaryWhere do you work? I work at Pinnacle Bank, we are locally owned by the Dinsdale family. We have 48 branches in Nebraska and have branches located in Colorado, Missouri, Texas, Kansas, Iowa, Arizona and New Mexico. Tell us a bit about your company and what makes you unique? Personal service is very important to our customers and I feel as a bank we work very hard to assist our customers with their banking needs. What is your favorite quote? My favorite quote is: "The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything" What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? My husband restored his high school car, a 1965 Impala we enjoy taking the car out and attending car shows. How did you get involved with Updowntowners? I got involved with Updowntowners by attending the monthly luncheon's and started volunteering at events. What is your favorite thing about being involved with Updowntowners? My favorite thing about being involved with Updowntowners is meeting new people. It is also a great way to support Lincoln, by hosting events we help bring people into our community whether it is a vendor, entertainer or spectator we hope they enjoy the event and support our local businesses. What is the most rewarding part of being in a leadership role with Updowntowners? I enjoy working with a diverse group of individuals with a "Can do" attitude. I have learned a lot about event production and what it takes to make an event successful!
