On Friday, June 19th and Saturday, June 20th, Celebrate Lincoln will turn the streets of Downtown Lincoln into an international vacation. Patrons will enjoy two fun-filled days of delicious food, refreshing beverages, colorful merchandise, kid-friendly activities, and a sizzling line-up of entertainment on two large stages. Celebrate Lincoln, presented by Lincoln Benefit Life and produced by Updowntowners, will take place from 12th – 14th streets on N Street from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. both days.

Last year, Celebrate Lincoln was awarded the prestigious Silver Grand Pinnacle Award for the best overall event in its budget category by the International Festivals & Events Association. The festival has been received enthusiastically by our community with more than 20,000 patrons representing 22 states attending last year. More than 400 volunteers are needed this year over the two days for various positions.

With twice as many headliners, and plenty of new market and food vendors this year, the event site will be jam-packed with exotic sounds, products and flavors! Celebrate Lincoln features nationally-known headlining entertainment, including Young Dubliners, The Elders, Harper and Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band, as well as local and regional artists.

Eat a smorgasbord of unique foods from all over the world, including Greece, Africa, India, Italy, and Mexico, as well as great American barbeque. Take your taste buds on a trip around the world by purchasing a tour card, or have “Lunch on Us” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday by receiving a free strip of tickets with each paid adult admission at the gate. Admission for children 12 and under will be free during this time with a food donation to the Lincoln Food Bank.

Refresh with beverages ranging from Italian Ice to margaritas and international beer. In the World Market, shop for unique products you won’t be able to find anywhere else.

Play international games and enjoy a weekend of fun and laughter while taking advantage of free inflatable games with the price of admission.

Patrons won't need to travel far to visit the festival of the summer!
