GOLincolnGO is collaborating with the 2010 Special Olympics USA National Games to produce the Special Olympics Town. Open to the public, the Special Olympics Town is a promotional event held during the USA National Games. This week-long event will feature food vendors, live performances, and opportunities to play games and compete against or with Special Olympics athletes.

Included in Special Olympics Town, is Fan Fest and the Sports Experience. The Special Olympics Fan Fest will be the festival outside of Pershing Auditorium, is open 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Monday - Thursday and is established to entertain all athletes, coaches, supporters and patrons.

Special Olympics Sports Experience will take place in the arena of Pershing Auditorium and is a unique sporting experience that unites people with and without intellectual disabilities through sports. Everyone will have the opportunity to participate in numerous games such as Wii bowling or tennis, volleyball, basketball, pool, simulator games and much more. Sports Experience is open 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Monday - Thursday and 10 a.m - 1 p.m. on Friday
