Join us for the 25th Annual Downtown Performance Series presented by Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital!

This FREE series takes place from noon to 1 p.m. every Wednesday through August 26, 2009 and is held in the beautiful Lincoln Community Foundation Gardens at 1415 N Street (behind Korn Popper). The Downtown Performance Series has a 24-year history of bringing free performances by local and international bands to Downtown Lincoln during the summer.

This year's event will kick-off with PANgea's Downtown Performance Series debut. PANgea is a steel drum band comprised of 17 Lincoln Public School percussion students in grades 9-12. The group performs music with African, Latin American and Caribbean influences and was formed in 2003.

We'll welcome the Special Olympics Torch runners as they travel through Lincoln en route to Omaha. Special Olympics athletes, Updowntowners members and law enforcement officers will also be joining us.
